Description of Services

• Carrier Consulting agrees to assist your organization in managing its voice and data communications network, and will undertake the following consulting services, so long as your organization obtains its services through Carrier Consulting.
  
  
• Analyze your telephone bills for local, long distance service, 800# service, calling cards, data transmission, private line, and point-to-point communication services to determine your current costs.
  
  
• Compare and contrast several providers to determine the range of savings available to you by utilizing alternative carriers.
  
  
• Evaluate term contract benefits and ramifications for your company's situation.
  
  
• Make carrier recommendations objectively, evaluating in terms of both cost and service, and other variables that affect which carriers will meet your specific needs.
  
  
• Explore feasibility of T-l dedicated access, fractional T-l , voice-data integration possibilities, etc.
  
  
• Review existing term contracts for cancellation penalties, volume commitments, escape clauses, automatic renewals, etc., to determine benefit/penalty of early cancellation.
  
  
• Make network design recommendations to optimize your network, which may mean combining carriers and services, switched access and dedicated access lines, splitting traffic for network back-up, etc.
  
  
• For multi-location clients, assess whether different carriers best serve different business locations.
  
  
• Assist in project management and implementation of network services.
  
  
• Undertake a post-cutover study, as requested, to ensure rate accuracy by long distance carrier.
  
  
• Evaluate vendor proposals received by your organization directly from carriers or resellers, to determine suitability and accuracy.
  
  
• Field telephone calls from telecommunications salespeople on your company's behalf.
  
  
• Assist in issue resolution with carriers, and/or with strategic and technical questions.
  
  
• Re-analyze your telephone bills periodically as changes in your calling patterns occur, or as new carrier programs are available in the marketplace.
  
  
• Negotiate with the major long distance carriers on an on-going basis to obtain new services and better rates for our clients. These services are provided at no cost to you, as long as your organization continues to obtain services through Carrier Consulting.
